COMPTON, Alvah Holland, 61, of Elliston, died Sunday, January 24, 1993. He is survived by two daughters, Ms. Gail Martin, Newport News, Miss Fay Compton, Eagle Rock; one son, Larry Compton, Elliston; his mother, Mrs. Lillie M. Compton, Elliston; two sisters, Mrs. Ramona Dunn, Mrs. Norma J. Dunn, both of Elliston; one grandson, Joshua Compton, Elliston. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 1993 at the Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home, Elliston with the Rev. David Neal and Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Interment in Sherwood Memorial Park. Arrangements by Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home, Elliston.
