OBIT YOUNG, L. J., DR.

YOUNG, L. J., Dr., 72, of Farmview Road, Christiansburg, died Monday afternoon, January 25, 1993 at his residence. Surviving are his wife, Sarah B. Young; two sons, Dr. Byron L. Young, Prince Frederick, Md., Dr. R. M. Young, Roanoke; a brother, C. C. Young, Roanoke; four sisters, Fern Eddins, Bessie Duffy, Blanche Young and Lolene Proffitt, all of Roanoke; one grandchild, Elizabeth Ann Young. The family asks that no flowers be sent and that memorials be made to the New River Valley Hospice, 1806 Prices Fork Road, Blacksburg, Va. 24060. There will be no viewing or visitation. Interment will take place in Sherwood Burial Park in Salem. Arrangements are being handled by the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
