OBIT HATCHER, WILFRED W.
HATCHER, Wilfred W., 103, of Stuarts Draft, died Monday, January 25, 1993 at his home. He was formerly of Rockbridge County. Surviving are two sons, William Hatcher of Beckley, W.Va., and Bob Hatcher, Lexington; four daughters, Mary Jane Campbell of Roanoke, Dorothy Lunsford and Ethel Henderson, both of Stuarts Draft, and Audrey Timberlake, Charlottesville; three sisters, Ellen Thompson, age 100, of Natural Bridge, Mabel Harrison of Natural Bridge Station and Katie Moore of Buena Vista, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 28, 1993, 2 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Leonard and Rev. Philip Ayres officiating with burial to follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens, Lexington. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Stuarts Draft Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 86, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
