HOWLETT, Arlyss E., 66, of Hillsville, passed away Monday, January 25, 1993 at Twin County Community Hospital. He was born October 24, 1926 in Carroll County, Va., son of the late William Kent and Lillian Smith Howlett. He is survived by his wife, Wilma B. Howlett; son, Michael Howlett of Hillsville; daughter, Vickie McKaughan of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Nicholas Howlett, Bernadette Howlett. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 1993 at the Hillsville Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. Masonic rites at the church by Hillsville Masonic Lodge. Military rites at graveside by Hillsville V.F.W. Post #1115. Funeral arrangements by Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, Virginia.
