OBIT ROBINSON, CHARLES, ("DIMPY")

ROBINSON, Charles, ("Dimpy"), 65, of Marion, died Monday, January 25, 1993, in Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Emory Golf and Country Club and had retired from Kayser-Roth Hosiery Mill. He was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Jean Hastings. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Robinson of Harriman, Tenn.; one daughter, Susan Burkett of Fort Worth, Texas,; three sisters, Betty Ann Slemp, Eleanor Martin, and Thelma Mathena, all of Marion, Va.; three brothers, Richard C. Robinson of Marion, Va., John David Robinson of Bristol, Tenn., and Walter Robinson of Salem, Va. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 29, 1993 at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. J. N. Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10 until 11 at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
