Aaron Black scored 23 points as George Wythe defeated Carroll County 74-65 in a non-district boys' basketball game Wednesday night.

Tracy Brown added 17 points and Jeff Bourne 10 for the Maroons, which led 37-24 at halftime.

For the Cavaliers (5-10), John Wolford scored 21 and Jason Kilbourne added 10. \
