LIBRARY VAN TO RUN STARTING ON MONDAY
Beginning Monday, the Montgomery County Bookmobile will use the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library van to offer library services that were interrupted by a recent accident involving the bookmobile.
The bookmobile will be out of service approximately one month. During this time, the van will carry a limited selection of materials and will make the following stops:
\ Shawsville, Monday and Feb. 15: Shawvalle Tots Day Care Center, 10:15-11 a.m.; Meadowbrook Nursing Home, 11-11:15 a.m.; Franklin Day Care Center, 11:15-11:45 a.m.; Brookmeade Adult Home, noon-12:15 p.m.
\ Shawsville-Alleghany, Tuesday and Feb. 16: Shawsville Headstart (White Memorial Church), 9:30-10:15 a.m.; Sowder's Chapel, 11 a.m.-noon.
\ McCoy-Longshop, Wednesday and Feb. 17: McCoy Fire Station, 2-4:30 p.m.
\ Pilot, Thursday and Feb. 18: Pilot Post Office, 9:30-10:45 a.m.
\ Blacksburg area, Feb. 8 and 22: Oakland Square, 10:30-10:45 a.m.; Showalter Center, 10:50-11:15 a.m.; Warm Hearth, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
\ Christiansburg, Feb. 9 and 23: Christiansburg Headstart (Belview School), 10-10:45 a.m.; Calloway Street, 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
\ Ironto-Elliston, Feb. 10 and 24: 2530 Bradshaw Road, 3:45-4:30 p.m.
\ Mount Tabor-Lusters Gate, Feb. 11 and 25: Mount Tabor Nursery School, 9:30-10:30 a.m.; Gateway Christian Academy, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
