OBIT WEBB, FRED HOWARD
WEBB, Fred Howard, 70, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, January 26, 1993 in a VA
Medical Center in Ashville, N.C. He was a member of Melrose Baptist Church,
was a retired employee of Webb Motors, an Army veteran of World War II and a
member of VFW Post #1264. He is survived by his wife, Helen S. Webb; two
daughters, Donna Robinson, Roanoke, Lelia W. Cross and husband, Louie Cross,
Blue Ridge; one brother, Byron S. Webb, Roanoke; three grandchildren, Daniel
Cross, Darrin and David Robinson; one great-grandchild. Funeral services will
be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 3 p.m. Friday, January 29, with the
Rev. Larry E. Spouse officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park
with military honors by VFW Post #1264. Friends may call at Oakey's North
Chapel, where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Thursday.
