ROANOKE GIRL REPORTS SEX ASSAULT IN MOTEL

A 13-year-old Roanoke girl was sexually assaulted Wednesday night after being taken to a motel by three men.

The girl told police she was visiting a friend on Bennett Street Northwest when the three men offered her a ride to a restaurant and movie.

She was taken to a motel on Melrose Avenue Northwest and they all entered the room there.

The girl told police she performed oral sex on one of the men after being threatened.

Police said one of the men also forced the girl to have sexual intercourse.

Police say there was no indication the girl knew the men beforehand or that she resisted entering the motel. No arrests had been made by Thursday evening.
