ZONING CHANGE CLEARS HURDLE IN WYTHEVILLE

Town Council has tentatively approved a rezoning to allow construction of more than 50 housing units on the north side of Peppers Ferry Road.

The rezoning would change property between 11th and 19th Streets from R-1 to R-2 residential.

Council must approve the rezoning at two more meetings before it can become effective.
