OBIT CROOK, MARY KEY
CROOK, Mary Key, 86, of Roanoke, died Thursday, January 28, 1993 in a local
hospital. She was the widow of Dewey B. Crook and a member of Belmont Baptist
Church. She also a member of the Rachel Rebekah Lodge #4 of Roanoke for over
60 years. Mrs. Crook was a former employee of the American Viscose Corp. and
was a retired Nursing Assistant. Surviving are three sisters, Beulah Reynolds
of Bedford, Estelle Ryder of Vinton, Jessie St. Clair of Roanoke; one niece
and a number of nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's
Roanoke Chapel 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 30 with the Rev. Chris Rakestraw
officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be
made to the Roanoke Life Saving Crew. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke
Chapel.
