OBIT SOWERS, LEO W. SR.
SOWERS, Leo W. Sr., ("Tuck"), 73, of Salem, passed away January 27, 1993. He was a veteran of World War II, receiving the Bronze Star. He is survived by his wife, Norma M. Sowers; daughters and sons-in-law, James & Wiley Thomas, Judy and Dave Lundie; sons and daughters-in-law, Leo W. Jr. and Karmel Sowers, Rick and Cindy Sowers; brothers, James R. Sowers, Bruce Sowers; sisters, Christine Baird, Rose Marie O'Donnell; also surviving are eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Salem, with Father James E. Parke officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Burial Park. Christian wake services will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
