OBIT GRAY, ELSIE BINGHAM
GRAY, Elsie Bingham, 86, of Blacksburg, died Wednesday, January 27, 1993 at
her home. Miss Gray was born in Blacksburg to the late Charles Henry and
Blanch Oneida Bingham Gray. She was a lifelong resident of Blacksburg,
attended Blacksburg High School and was a graduate of Roanoke Business
College. Miss Gray retired from the United States Postal Service with twenty
six years of service, and was a member of Blacksburg United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her brother, Russell C. Gray, Princeton, W.Va.; cousins,
Margaret Ridinger, Blacksburg, and Paul Kelsey, Abingdon; a special friend,
Zona Holcomb, Blacksburg. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January
30, at Blacksburg United Methodist Church. The Rev. Herbert Hobbs will
officiate. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Memorial contributions
may be made to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends
Friday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
