OBIT TINSLEY, DONALD LEWIS, (SGT. RETIRED)

TINSLEY, Donald Lewis, (Sgt. Retired), 59, of Clifton Forge, formerly of Lexington, died Wednesday, January 27, 1993, in the VA Medical Center, Salem. He was a Korean War POW. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gloria M. Tinsley, Forestville, Md.; two daughters, Miss Florine Tinsley, Lexington and Miss Tavon Tinsley, Forestville, Md.; two grandchildren; one brother, Mr. Nelson Tinsley, Clifton Forge. Friends may call at the Lewis Funeral Chapel on Friday evening from 7 until 8. The family members are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 12:15 on Saturday for the procession. A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Saturday, 1 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Lexington, with the Rev. John Davis, Minister. J. B. Lewis Funeral Service, Lexington, is handling the arrangements.
