WJJJ AIDING FUND-RAISER

WJJJ, a country radio station that has served the valley for almost 30 years, recently produced a series of 60-second community service messages that will help raise funds for New River Community Action, Inc., an organization that assists low-income, disabled or elderly people in the New River Valley.

Businesses may sponsor the messages for a nominal fee, a portion of which will go to Community Action.

Organizers are hoping to raise a minimum of $1,260 each month for the next three months.
