CANCER VICTIM BENEFIT IS CHANGED TO FEB. 7
A new date has been set for a variety show to help raise money for the medical bills of Jerry Lowe of Max Meadows, who has lymphatic cancer.
The show will now be held Feb. 7 from 2 to 6 p.m. in the George Wythe High School auditorium. It was postponed because the earlier date coincided with a sports event.
Admission is free, but donations will be taken at the door. The Wytheville Ladies Ruritan Club, which is sponsoring the event, is seeking more performers to join those already scheduled.
