SMYTH COUNTY HOSPITAL ADDS 3 STAFF MEMBERS

Smyth County Community Hospital has added three staff members to its health care team.

They are Mark L. Hall, assistant director of the Anesthesia Department; Freda Borders, quality improvement coordinator; and Karen S. Ward, clinical dietitian.

Hall, who has been delivering anesthesia since 1979, previously worked at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. Borders came from Holston Valley Hospital at Kingsport, Tenn., where she was a critical-care registered nurse. Ward worked previously at Humana Hospital-Clinch Valley. - Southwest bureau
