MAGNA VISTA TOPS SALEM
Evan Penn and Marcus Toney combined for 42 points Saturday night as Magna Vista knocked off Salem 78-76 in a non-district high school boys' basketball game.Magna Vista led 73-63 early in the fourth quarter until Rodney Tanks and Tony Holmes fouled out. Salem closed to three points but was unable to sink a 3-pointer for the win.
Penn scored 22 points, Toney had 20 and Holmes added 16 for the Warriors (10-4).
Mark Byington led Salem (9-3) with 33 points, including four 3-point goals.

PADUCAH, Ky. - Oak Hill Academy scored as many points in each of the first two quarters as Paducah Tilghman scored in the game to roll to its 21st victory without a loss.
Alex Sanders led the Warriors, ranked third nationally by USA Today, with 26 points, followed by Jerry Stackhouse with 20 and Jeff McInnis with 16.
