RAMPAGE'S ROAD SKID CONTINUES
Bruce Coles and Christian Lariviere saw to it that Johnstown would not end the Roanoke Valley Rampage's road woes Saturday night.Coles scored three goals and Lariviere assisted on three as the Chiefs turned in a solid 4-1 victory at War Memorial Arena, the Rampage's East Coast Hockey League-record 22nd loss in a row on the road. The Rampage's only road win in 24 games was against Johnstown on Oct. 31, 1992.
Roanoke Valley (11-34-1) has lost 19 of its past 20 games, including two straight since breaking its record 16-game losing streak at home against Knoxville on Jan. 23.
Jack Williams scored the only goal for the Rampage, which plays Thursday at the Vinton LancerLot against Greensboro. \
