OBIT HARTBERGER, CHARLES L.
HARTBERGER, Charles L., 64, of Roanoke, died Friday, January 29, 1993. Mr. Hartberger was retired from General Electric after 33 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Irene Hartberger; his children, Walter Lewis Hartberger, Angela Coe Hartberger, Alvin Lowell Hartberger, Hunter Lynn Hartberger, all of Roanoke, David Wayne Hartberger of Forest, Va., Margaret "Kitty" Simpson of Roanoke, Charles Lee Hartberger of England, Russell Allan Hartberger of Wilson, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and three brothers, Clarence D. Hartberger of Orlando, Fla.; Michael H. Hartberger of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Harold W. Hartberger of Denver, Colo. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, February 1, in Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. George E. Stevenson officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
