OBIT JUDGE, CLARA JOSEPHINE
JUDGE, Clara Josephine, 76, of Route 2, Ferrum, died Saturday morning,
January 30, 1993, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Judge was a member of Francis
of Assisi Catholic Church and the Franklin Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxilary.
Surviving are her husband, Paul D. Judge, Ferrum; her daughter, Mary Beth
Craven, Northvale, N.J.; two sons, Daniel Judge of Berrien Springs, Mich.,
Stephen Judge of Christiansburg; three grandsons, Stephen and Patrick Craven,
and Paul Judge; five granddaughters, Elizabeth, Rebehah, Sarah, Christina and
Leah Judge; one sister, Ann Heying, Ocean City, N.J.; two brothers, Harold
Heying, Anthony Heying, both of Austin, Ky.; one sister-in-law, Agnes Towey,
Saddle River, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of the Resurrection
will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Francis of Assisi Catholic Church by Father
Paul Maier. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. Sunday with a
Christian Wake service at 7 p.m. in Flora Funeral Chapel for those desiring to
participate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American
Cancer Society. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St., Rocky
