OBIT CLAYTOR, WILLIAM ANDREW

CLAYTOR, William Andrew, 73, of Copper Hill, passed away Friday, January 29, 1993, in a Roanoke hospital. He was a veteran of World War II and retired from the N & W Railroad. Surviving are his wife, Eva Spencer Claytor, Copper Hill; daughter, Jennifer Claytor, Copper Hill; brother, James I. Claytor, Winston-Salem, N. C.; four sisters-in-law, Mamie Bailey, Roanoke, Catherine West, Audrey White, both of Washington, D. C., Mary Ann Smith, San Jose, Calif.; brother-in-law, Junius Spencer, Washington, D. C.; many nieces and nephews including Winfred Beale of Floyd. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Copper Hill Church of the Brethren, Copper Hill, Va., with the Rev. Manuel Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Restvale Cemetery, Copper Hill. Friends may call at the Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd, on Sunday where the family will be from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the Floyd County Chapter, American Cancer Society, C/O Pat Agnew at the Bank of Floyd.
