OBIT PROFFITT, GERALDINE KEISTER

PROFFITT, Geraldine Keister, of 1512 Grove Dr., Pulaski, died Friday evening, January 29, 1993, in Pulaski Community Hospital. Born in New River, Va., she was the daughter of the late Miles Alexander Keister and Nannie Brooks Keister. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Edward Proffitt; one son, Randall Proffitt, Blacksburg; one brother, Harmon Keister, Pulaski; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Judith) Bocock, Pulaski, Mrs. Craig (Pauline) Riggle, Staunton, Mrs. Eugene (Mildred) Chumbley, Pulaski; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. from Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Sunday afternoon from 3 until 5 at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home.
