OBIT BLANKENSHIP, MABLE BILLER

BLANKENSHIP, Mable Biller, of the 2500 block of W. Bugle Dr., Chesapeake, died Thursday, January 28, 1993, in a Portsmouth hospital. A native of Danville, she was the wife of Roy E. Blankenship, and retired as a chief telephone supervisor after 32 years of service at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Mrs. Blankenship was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Portsmouth and the Order of Eastern Star, Tital Wave Chapter. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Dawn Marie O'Brien, Portsmouth; one son, Robert Wayne Blankenship Sr., Chesapeake; two sisters, Margie Musselman of Roanoke, Inez Barton of Vinton; two brothers, Clayton Biller of Roanoke, Douglas Biller of Staley, N.C.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, February 1, in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, with the Rev. Gene V. Primm officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and other times at 4409 Wake Forrest Rd., Portsmouth.
