SOCCER ROANOKE STAR WINS INDOOR TOURNAMENT

Mark Wise and Brian Sharp scored five goals each to lead the Roanoke Star White boys' under-15 team to the Soccer Unlimited Indoor Tournament title in Winston-Salem, N.C. In the championship game on Sunday, Star White defeated the Winston-Salem Twins 4-2.

Star White finished the tournament with a 5-1 record while outscoring opponents 20-5 with Michael Creasey in net. Tait Duus was named top defender.
