WRIGHT, Paul L., 74, of Route 5, Rocky Mount, died Sunday, January 31, 1993, at his home. Mr. Wright was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Linwood Wright and was a member and clerk of the Little Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Helen Wright of the home; one son, Daniel Lee Wright, also of the home; four sisters, Hazel McDaniel of Mechanicsville, Va.; Reva Abshire, Roanoke, Carrie Palmer of Mechanicsville, Va.; Clelia Welton of Crew, Va.; three brothers, Curtis Wright of Burkeville, George Wright, Mechanicsville, Va. and Winford Wright of Bellhaven, N. C.; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 1993, in the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel with the Elder W. Lane Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ferrum Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
