IMPEACH POLITICIANS WHO BREAK PROMISES

WHATEVER the election - federal, state or local - the people of America listen to campaign promises to cure the existing problems.

Each candidate tells us they can cure these problems, and they have the intelligence and the know-how to do the job. Then the vote is cast, someone is elected, and immediately all promises are forgotten.

Either the newly elected politician cannot or simply will not correct the problems. Therefore, this person is not the same one we voted for and does not deserve to be in office.

They cannot deny the promises made to us. We have every word they spoke on tape, and every promise made can be played back for them.

Either this person did not do his homework before making promises that cannot be kept, or is a bum who simply lied to us. Either way we should have the right to impeach this person and, to use the familiar phrase, "Throw the bum out of office."

This impeachment process should be very speedy. They should be stopped before they have time to do any irreparable damage to America, which incidentally belongs to us. This impeachment process should hold true for the president of the United States or any politician in our country who was elected by making promises that will not or cannot be kept.
