BLUEFIELD PROFESSOR TO PERFORM TONIGHT

Lynne Mackey, head of the music department and assistant professor of piano at Bluefield College, will give a performance at Southwest Virginia Community College tonight at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is free. A reception will follow. Mackey will also perform at 11:15 a.m. that day as a guest with the college's performance series.

She is a graduate of the Juilliard School with a doctorate from Eastman School of Music. Her visit is part of an exchange program that will see music students of Sam Schulken at the community college visiting Bluefield College for a performance. - Southwest bureau
