`INUIT IMAGES' EXHIBIT AT ABINGDON ART CENTER
An exhibit titled "Inuit Images: Art from the Canadian Arctic" will open Saturday at the William King Regional Arts Center.The Inuit people, often called Eskimos, have lived in the Arctic for thousands of year. The prints and sculptures in this exhibit, including an igloo, demonstrates ways in which they reveal themselves through their art.
The prints are on loan from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The sculptures are made available by William L. Andrews and his wife, who are private collectors in Richmond. - Southwest bureau
