OBIT-LAPRADE, EDGAR WILLIAM ("PLUCK")

LaPRADE, Edgar William ("Pluck"), 51, of Route 4, Rocky Mount, died Monday, February 1, 1993 in a Roanoke hospital. He was an employee of Cooper Wood Products. Surviving are his wife, Edna P. LaPrade; his daughter, Shirley Marie LaPrade, of the home; his mother and stepfather, Mildred (Polly) and Lloyd Flora, Boones Mill; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Doug and Sandra LaPrade, Jim LaPrade, all of Rocky Mount; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Shirley Patton, Roanoke; special nephew, Bobby Patton; special niece, Megan Patton; three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law. Funeral services will be conducted in Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. James Beaver, Rev. Jeff Gardner, and the Rev. Terry Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St. Rocky Mount.
