OBIT-HOLSVEIG, LENORE AVERGON
HOLSVEIG, Lenore Avergon, 69, of 224 Cavalier Drive, Virginia Beach, died
Tuesday, January 12, 1993, in a Virginia Beach Hospital. Mrs. Holsveig was a
native of Newark, N.J. She was a member of Temple Emanuel and it's Sisterhood.
Mrs. Holsveig was a graduate of the Newark School of Fine and Applied Arts.
She was a renoun artist, architectural draftsman and real estate agent. She
was supervisor of Art for the Pittsylvania and Roanoke County School systems.
She was a member and past president of the Hadassah. She was a member of the
Tidewater Board of Realtors and the Million Dollar Sales Club. Mrs. Holsveig
was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by her
family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Sol Holsveig, Virginia
Beach; two daughters, Lois F. Holsveig and Sharon A. Gore; a granddaughter,
Tyler A. Gore; a nephew, Dr. Louis J. Feldman, Cape May, N.J.; a niece, Elisa
La Due, Holyoke, Mass. A chapel service was held on Friday, January 15, 1993
at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Rd. by Rabbi David Abrams. Burial was at
Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, Va. The family requests memorial donations be
made to The Gilda Radner Ovarian Cancer Registry, Roswell Park Cancer
Institute, Elm and Carlton St., Buffalo, New York 14263, or your favorite
charity.
