COCHRAN TROUNCES GUN CONTROL
I HAD thought of writing several times this month regarding your extravagant - and weak - series on gun control; your excellent editorial comment on Sen. Robb's ordeal with the grand jury (the electorate jury is still out); and Gov. Wilder's commentary - is he a newspaperman, too? - on gun "exports."Then came Sunday and Outdoor writer Bill Cochran's heart-warming column on an aging - and ageless - bird dog.
On a scale of zero to 10, I give Cochran a nine. Gun control and Gov. Wilder are lucky to get a two.
