OBIT WEST, EMMA S.

WEST, Emma S., 97, of Floyd, passed away Tuesday in a Shawsville nursing home. She was preceded in death by a son, Winston West; and two daughters-in-law, Lottie V. West and Gladys West. She is survived by one son, Raymond E. West, Floyd; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Berlon Kemp officiating with interment in Jacksonville Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gardner Funeral Home, where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
