OBIT TESTERMAN, ELMER VAUGHN

TESTERMAN, Elmer Vaughn, 64, of Sugar Grove, died Monday, February 1, 1993 in Smyth County Community Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Testerman, Sugar Grove; two daughters, Teresa D. Thomas, Marion, and Tonia M. James, Sugar Grove; three sons, Elmer R. Testerman, Hugo, Okla., James V. Testerman, New Castle, Del., Edd E. Testerman, Speedwell, Va.; his mother, Millie Roark Testerman, Marion; two sisters, Lucille Knebeles and Katherine Cyrway, both of Philadelphia, Pa.; two brothers, Lavern Testerman, Wharn Cliffe, W.Va. and Woodrow Testerman, Whitetop, Va.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, February 4, 1993 at 11:30 a.m. in Slemp Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Va. with Rev. Herman Cress officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Smyth County, P.O. Box 843, Marion, VA 24354. There will be no visitation. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
