OBIT CANTRELL, GARCIA K.

CANTRELL, Garcia K., 79, of Ross, Ohio, died at his residence Monday. He was born in Wise County, Va., on December 22, 1913. He married Verna Johnson in 1937 at the Wise Baptist Church. He had been employed at Witt Motor Co. as an accountant for 28 years retiring in 1982. He is survived by his wife, Verna Johnson, Cantrell; two daughters, Nancy Wallace of Ross and Jane Brookman of Salem, Va.; one brother, Burgess Cantrell of California; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Friends may call at the Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton-Cleves Rd., Ross, Ohio, Wednesday evening 6 until 8. Funeral service at 8 Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Entombment service will be held at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens, Norton, Va. Thursday, 3 p.m.
