OBIT GISH, MARTHA ANN HOGAN

GISH, Martha Ann Hogan, 100, of Vinton, passed away Monday, February 1, 1993 in a local nursing home. She was predeceased by two daughters and three sons-in-law, Corrinne Frances and Eugene Pugh, Josephine E. and Wilbur Fore, and Everett R. Cox. She was the widow of Oscar Price Gish. Mrs. Gish was the oldest member of Hollins Road Church of the Brethren. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Marshall T. and Mildred F. Gish, Roanoke, Edsel L. and Mary C. Gish, Roanoke; Glenwood L. and Louise L. Gish, Severna Park, Md.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Genevieve G. Cox, Moneta, Cornelia G. and Cornelius Flowers, Roanoke; 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and three nieces. Funeral services will be held noon Thursday, February 4, 1993 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Bruce A. Noffsinger officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
