LOOK WHO'S COMMITTING CRIMES

THERE ARE problems in this country that need to be addressed - especially crime, whether it be robbery, drugs, rape, assault or murder. The legislation that the so-called governor has proposed will only hurt the innocent and do nothing to the criminals. Instead of punishing the people committing these crimes, he wants to rob honest citizens of their rights.

Let's look at who is committing these crimes. Are they hard-working people trying to have a better life for themselves and their families? No, they are drug pushers, rapists and murderers. We all know who these people are, but if we speak out publicly, we are called racists.

Our leaders in government need to make laws to punish the guilty and not the innocent. I know these people and Gov. Wilder will cry racism. So, the law-abiding citizens of this state and country need to take a stand and let Wilder know we will not be punished for someone else's crimes. ANTHONY MABE MAX MEADOWS
