BLACK CELEBRATION WEDNESDAY AT NRCC

The Black Awareness Association of New River Community College will sponsor a free program entitled "Celebration of Our Heritage: An Empowerment of Our People." Wednesday at the Dublin campus.

Speakers will include Rev. Ronald Watson, pastor of Radford Church of God in Christ, and David Johnson, vice president of the college's Black Awareness Association. Musical will be provided by the Radford Church of God choir.

Festivities begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted.
