OBIT BARBOUR, MRS. LEE
BARBOUR, Mrs. Lee, 98, of Rocky Mount and formerly of 526 N. Main St., died
Wednesday morning, February 3, 1993 in a local nursing home. She was the
daughter of the late Jefferson Davis and Ann Liza Sigmon Peters. She was
preceded in death by her husband, William Odell Barbour and a son, Richard
Barbour. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Gladys and Ralph
Windle; two sons and daughters-in-law, William Melvin and Leatrice Barbour,
Carey Clinton and Gladys Barbour, all of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren,
Lonnie Barbour, Leesa Overfelt and Eric Barbour; five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday from Lynch Chapel with the
Rev. Denny D. Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View
Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Thursday,
where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
