OBIT HENRY, KATHERINE LEE

HENRY, Katherine Lee, 90, of Gainesville, Fla., died Monday, February 1, 1993 in a Gainesville hospital. She was the widow of Patrick Miles Henry. Mrs. Henry was a longtime resident of Bent Mountain, Va. and was also a member of Lawrence Memorial and West End United Methodist Churches. Mrs. Henry was a past president of the Roanoke County Women's Club and a past president of the Bent Mountain P.T.A. During the 1950's, she was instrumental in teaching home bound Polio patients. Surviving are her daughters, Marie Powell, Gainesville, Fla., Doris Holsey, Naples, Fla., and Nina Hansen, Big Fork, Mont., 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. Services will be from Oakey's South Chapel at 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Phillip E. Sims will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Oakey's South Chapel for one hour prior to services.
