IT'S ABOUT time we were told the other side of the "one-gun-a-month issue."
Why must law-abiding citizens be penalized for the deeds of criminals? Gov. Wilder wants to penalize all Virginia residents for the acts of a few. Do we penalize automobile owners because one stolen in Virginia was used in a crime in New York?
Del. Vic Thomas has written the only article (commentary Jan. 26, "Some gun laws work, but one-a-month won't") I've read so far that has the answers to this issue.
Virginians, listen to this man. He's been working for Virginians' interest with common sense longer than Wilder has been seeking headlines. JERRY W. JENKINS SALEM
