OBIT-GRAVELY, VAUGHNIE J.

GRAVELY, Vaughnie J., 92, of Roanoke, passed away February 3, 1993 at Raleigh Court Health Care Center. She was the widow of George R. Gravely, Sr. and a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Doris G. Burnside; one son and daughter-in-law, George R., Jr. and Verna B. Gravely, all of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Curtis W. Thompson, Ohio, James F. Thompson, Blue Ridge, Mary G. Medico, Connecticut; eight step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lizzie J. Poff, Roanoke, Aletha J. Dearing, Williamsburg; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel by the Rev. John D. Cochran. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Oakey's Roanoke.
