OBIT-BOYD, CHRISTIE ALVIN

BOYD, Christie Alvin, 65, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, February 3, 1993, in a local hospital. Surviving are his wife, Louise Loretta Boyd; daughter and son-in-law, Sybil and David Cooley, Roanoke; three grandchildren, Craig Feathers, Christen and Sam Cooley, all of Roanoke; three sisters, Hazel Cox, Ethel Waldron, both of Roanoke, Helen Wagner, Richmond. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, with Chaplain Cecil Irwin officiating. Interment will be in the Glade Creek Cemetery, Botetourt County. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
