OBIT-KARNES, VILUS A.

KARNES, Vilus A., 69, a life long resident of Vinton, died Thursday, February 4, 1993. She was the widow of Levi Karnes. She is survived by her sisters, Lois O. Gray of Virginia Beach, Aileen O. Miller of Roanoke; brothers, Siebert R. Overstreet of Vinton; Kenneth M. Overstreet of Hopewell, Warren H. Overstreet of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews. Her remains rest at Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. A graveside service will be held at noon Saturday, February 6, at Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Vinton Rescue Squad.
