REPRIMANDED FOR TELLING TRUTH
Excuse me, but what has Salem ever done? Is it the fantastic sports program that our athletes excel in year after year? Is it our beautiful sports complexes that puts other schools to shame? Or it is the beautiful city of Salem?
Whatever it is, I'm sick and tired of idiots who are always putting it down.
From recruiting players to play just one sport, which is not only untrue but illegal, (Salem does things legally, unlike some people.) to idiots who have the gall to say Salem will never win a state championship (which they will).
A liar and a cheat gets a slap on the wrist for cheating in a playoff game and the head coach of the team that was cheated against gets reprimanded for telling the truth.
We do think of the boys who won't be able to repeat as state champions next season, (not that they would have anyway), but we also think of the boys from Salem or Orange that were cheated out of the state championship.
