KEEP HOCKEY IN VINTON
This concerns the talk going around the Roanoke Valley Rampage hockey team.It seems Mr. McCadden wants to keep the hockey team in the Roanoke Valley. Why is he so interested in the hockey team now? Because he wants it in the city.
Why didn't someone come forward and help Henry Brabham when he had team. Vinton is in the Roanoke Valley. If it wasn't for Henry, it would have been gone years ago.
Revo comes here thinking he is going to make it big then he starts talking about moving the team, takes them out of town to play an hour game that runs away almost five hundred fans. Then he comes up with no fighting or roughing. Hockey has always been a contact sport, so are all the other sports. They fight in most all sports, why not hockey?
