OBIT COX, JAMES LEE

COX, James Lee, 32, of Bedford, passed away Saturday, February 6, 1993, in the Bedford County Memorial Hospital. He was born September 20, 1960, in Bedford County, a son of Thomas Jefferson Cox and Rachel Johnson Cox, both of Bedford. In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by four sisters, Brenda C. Willard of Roanoke, Judy C. Cheek of Radford, Mary C. King of Bedford, Sandra C. Thompson of Lynchburg; two brothers, Larry W. Cox of San Francisco, Calif., Tommy C. Cox of Youngstown, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 8, 1993, at 11 a.m. from the Morgan's Baptist Church by the Rev. Alfred Duncan. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 6:30 until 9 p.m. at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
