MAIL SHOPPERS AREN'T TAX DODGERS
RECENTLY your paper published some articles about the state sales tax not being paid on merchandise ordered from mail-order companies.It stated that it was being done to avoid paying the sales tax. I don't believe this would be the case, when the shipping charges usually amount to more than the tax would, depending on the dollar value ordered.
