OBIT BYRD, JOE A.

BYRD, Joe A., 60, of Roanoke, died Sunday, February 7, 1993. Mr. Byrd is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby D. Byrd; two daughters, Lois Keener and Brenda Powell; and two stepsons, Michael and Kevin Stafford. Also surviving are two brothers, Dennis and Robert Byrd, and one granddaughter, Shannon Keener. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, at Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Stafford officiating. Interment will follow in the Pate Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, February 8, from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
