SMALL-BUSINESS SEMINARS SCHEDULED
Two small business seminars have been scheduled for this month by the New River Valley Small-Business Development Center and other agencies.Basic bookkeeping and record-keeping will be covered at a seminar Feb. 18 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Pulaski Community Hospital Education Building. The leader will be Al Marsh, a certified public accountant.
Preparing for computerization is the topic for a Feb. 23 seminar at the New River Valley Mall in Christiansburg from 6 to 9 p.m., headed by accountant Paul Weeks.
Registrations will be 30 minutes before each workshop. Fees for each workshop are $15 for members of chambers of commerce and $20 for others. Further information is available by calling David Shanks at 231-4004.
